Chief Clopp reviewed his report which included the following: The department provided security for the fire department's gun bash on February 18th. The department attended a virtual reality training scenario on February 23rd. 170 Chief Clopp reported that he received al letter of resignation from Officer Jonathan Harvey. Superintendent: Monthly report is on file. Superintendent Imbrogno reported that a 15 minute parking spot will be installed on Bridge St this week. He also reported that the crew took Confined Space training with the. Johnsonburg Municipal Authority at their facility. Council Committees: Nothing submitted. Finance & Bills for Payment: President Maletto read the borough's account balances and the bills. This month's bills include General Fund- $3,499.80, Community Center Fund - $11,130.05, and Community Improvement Fund - $625.00. Mr. Miller reviewed his Areview of the Johnsonburg Community Center sewer line project. 704 Bridge St demolition has been completed and the lot has been seeded. The West End Storm Water Project including Julia St and W Center St will be going to He has made the new owner of 314 High St aware of the code violations. The property at 307 High St, which we just approved for sale out of repository: a few months ago, has been put up for sale by the owner. Engineer Ryan Miller explained the pool room ceiling repairs needed after a water leak discolored the ceiling materials. Recreation Board President TJ Weaver reported on activities at the center including: excavation permits and a water leak on Clarion Rd. The SnoBall dance for high school students went well. Ryan Miller explained the sewer line replacement project located between the Johnsonburg Community Center and Center St. He recommends the borough apply as aj joint project with the. Johnsonburg Municipal Authority to get this line repaired. A motion was made by Councilman DeAngelo and seconded by Councilman Poague to approve applying for a 2023 CDBG project for the: sewer line replacement along the Johnsonburg Municipal Authority and tol hire ARS Engineering to complete the application. After a brief discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Poague and seconded by Councilman Warmbrodt to apply for a 2023 CDBG slum and blight application for the removal of five residential properties at the corner of First Ave and Bergen St which are currently in the Elk County repository and to hire ARS Engineering to complete the application.
