Council Committees: The publicworks committee met to review the hotel demolition  cleanup on E Center St.  Finance & Bills for Payment: President Maletto read the borough's account balances and the bills. This month's bills include General Fund- -$4,348.76, Community Center Fund - $3,027.08, Highway Aid Fund $10,719.23, Community Improvement Fund- - $4,294.04 and Street Light Fund- $400.00. A motion was made by Councilman DePanfilis and seconded by Councilman Cherry to pay the bills as presented and to accept the finance report. Motion carried  unanimously.  Solicitor: Solicitor Thomas was excused.  Engineer & Code Enforcement Report: Monthly report is on file. Engineer Ryan Miller updated Council on the status of the DCED Local Share Grants in which all four were submitted, the. Johnsonburg Community Center heating and a/c project on the second floor, He reported that 307 High St. has been inspected and has been listed as habitable and is being Municipal Authority: Minutes are on file. Johnsonburg Municipal Authority Manager Brian Buesink updated Council on the Spring St. project stating that the finished paving has been put on hold until spring. The authority applied for DCED Local Share Grants for projects on Clarion Rd. and int that area. A brief discussion was held on the cancelled plans for a water  Nittany Mart stormwater plans, and outstanding CDBG projects.  placed back on the tax rolls.  tankatt the high school.  Recreation Board: Nothing submitted.  Old Business: 1.A Ar motion was made by Councilman DePanfilis and seconded by Councilman Poague to table the discussion on the EMS voter referendum until our solicitor isi in  attendance. Motion carried unanimously.  New Business: 1. A motion was made by Councilman Poague and seconded by Councilman Imbrogno to approve the 2024 budget and 2024 tax schedule. The budget includes a 2.5% raiset for borough employees. The tax: schedule includes a 1.5 millage increase in the general fund and a. .5 millage increase in the borough equipment fund. President Maletto called fora a roll call vote which was unanimous in favor of the motion. Motion carried.
