Engineer Ryan Miller explained that our 2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project for stormwater line replacement on Third Ave. did not qualify under the program's guidelines. He reviewed the eligibility guidelines for CDBG projects and then a discussion was held on potential projects. A motion was made by Councilman DePanfilis and seconded by Councilman Warmbrodt to submit 2024 CDBG applications to replace sidewalks on Market St. and Bridget St. (referred to as the Bridge St. Corridor) and for the demolition of 512 Market St. 6. Engineer Miller reviewed the. Johnsonburg Community Exterior Restoration Project and explained the history of rescoping the project to fit within the funding. He is recommending completing one: side at at time and to start with the south side facing the playground. A motion was made by Councilman Poague and seconded by Councilman Cherry to complete the exterior restoration of the playground side oft the.
