Johnsonburg Borough Council Meeting The following is a summary of work performed over the last month, including updates on current project status, provided herein for your review: Engineering Services Unfortunately the County did not receive any bids for the advertised West End Storm Sewer Replacement Project - Phase 2. A survey of Contractors who received copies of the plans and specifications indicated current workload was a major factor ini not submitting al bid at this time. The County has re-advertised the Project with an extended completion deadline which we: feel will be more feasible with contractors' schedules and workload. New bids are due to be publically opened at the Commissioner's Meeting on June 7, 2023 and completion is now anticipated later this Fall. We anticipate those estimates will be available for review and approval at the June Council Meeting. Att this time prevailing wage rates are not anticipated to apply. Project specifications for development of the parking lot at the corner of Second Avenue and Spruce Street are still being finalized. The County will advertise the project once the specifications are complete with bids opened at a future Commissioner's Meeting this summer.
