BUDGET MEETING MINUTES Borough of Ambridge - Meeting of Borough Council  Council Chambers  Tuesday, October1, 2024-5:301 PM  I.  Present: Ms. Tessaro, Mr. Gill, Mr. Basalyga, Mr. Prentice, Borough Manager Mario N. Leone Jr, Late: Ms. Mary Jane Gilliam arrived at 5:38pm, Mr. Tony Cafarelli arrived at 6:40pm.  Police ChiefJohn Deluca, Fire ChiefDon Larrick  Absent: Mr. Dunn  II. ChiefDeLuca gave aj proposal of! his Budget to Council. Council reviewed the preliminary figures and asked questions ini regard to Ful-Time/Part-Time status, overtime, SRO Officers, III. ChiefLarrick discussed his departmental Budget with Council. Discussions included the aging fleet oft the engines and ladder truck. Further discussion into the life expectancy of the equipment IV. Council continued ai full preliminary review ofthe budget line item by line item. Numerous questions asked. Mr. Leone requested all members of council continue to review the line items  Police MMO contributions. and replacement costs.  prior to next Budget Meeting scheduled for November 5, 2024.
