MINUTES OFTHE: REGULAR MEETING OFT THE. PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SILOAM SPRINGS, BENTON COUNTY,ARKANSAS  September 10, 2024  The Planning Commission oft the City of Siloam Springs, Benton County, Arkansas, met in regular session at the City  Administration Building on September 10, 2024.  Item. A. The meeting was called to order by Chairman J.W. Smith.  Item B. Roll Call: Rennard, Salley, McKinney, Smith, K Williams, TWilliams - Present.  Song- Absent.  Present City Staff: Community Development Assistant Director / City Engineer, Kevin Moore; Senior Planner, Ben Item D: A copy oft the August 13,2024 minutes had previously been given to each Commissioner. A motion was made by Salley and seconded by McKinney to accept the minutes. A Voice Vote was taken on the pending motion. The motion  Rhoads, Planner 1, Maegan Thomas; Permit Technician, Laura Holt; all present.  passed unanimously.  Item E. Development Permits Approval  Item E1. Preliminary Plat Development Permit, PP24-03, 2600 Block ofN. Country Club Dr. Thomas briefed thei item. Staff recommended approval with conditions. T Williams made ai motion to approve the item, and Rennard seconded it. Item E2. Significant Development Permit SD24-09, 3948 HWY 412 East. Rhoads briefed the item. Staff recommended approval with conditions. Rennard made a motion to approve thei item, which was seconded by Williams. The motion Item E3. Special Use Permit SU24-05, 300 Block of N. Simon Sager Ave. Rhoads briefed thei item. Staff recommended approval with conditions. Greg Farris, applicant from 144 S Country Ct, Witicha, Kansas, ratified the comments presented and was available for any questions; in answer to McKinney's question, Farris confirmed the project was originally planned several years ago but was postponed due to complications surrounding COVID and is now: resuming without changes. McKinney motioned to approve the item, and' T Williams seconded it. The motion passed unanimously. This Item F. Easement Acceptances. Thomas briefed the item. K Williams moved to accept the easements, which was seconded Item G. Board and Staff Approved. Items. Chairman Smith confirmed there were: no questions for these items. Item H.. Adjournment: Therel being no further business, Salley made a motion to adjourn, which was seconded by T Williams. A voice vote was called, and the motion passed unanimously.
