County Administrator's Report  County Administrator/EMA Director Terrell Partain EMA Director  information  storm headed this way on Thursday and Friday. He wanted to make gave everyone aware on tropical the storm is predicted to be at leasta a Category 1 possibly a Category 4 hurricane. It will be similar that to thel hurricane that came through our way in2017. He advised that everyone should  precautions.  take proper    10. Chairman's Report  Chairman Sayer commented on social media post about comparing the sales tax of Hart tos surrounding counties. He remarked that if you are going to compare taxes you should include County property taxes also. He also gave the millage rates of surrounding counties noting that Hart County had the lowest. Chairman Sayer pointed out that the County Administration Department Heads and everyone involved in County business are good stewards of  and the County's  funds.  11. Commissioner's Report  Commissioner Bennett thanked all the County Departments. He remarked that the school's Commissioner Teasley commented on trees at the Nancy Drive side of Ridge Road that Commissioner Brown explained that hei is on Microsoft Teams due to him having Commissioner Dorsey offered get will wishes to Commissioner Brown: Administrator Terrell Partain's sentiments for citizens to prepare for the the true way to look at the millage rate is the cost to provide services per upcoming citizen, storm; stated revenue sources and that Hart County's millage ratei is still lower than surrounding counties. using different  millage rate is also lower than surrounding counties. The motion carried 5-0. 66-206 b) Amendment to Chapter 46 Land Development Standards Discussion Commissioner Dorsey sent an email to all the Commissioners, County Administrator Terrell Partain and County Attorney Kim Higginbotham for review. Several subdivisions Drive are being developed on county roads with little to no right of way. Commissioner including Early moved to direct County Attorney Kim Higginbotham draft an amendment to ordinance stating that a 60 foot right of way should be deeded to the the subdivision on subdivisions; he added that no subdivisions would be approved until this amendment County is in level II Commissioner Teasley provided a second tot the motion. AND INSURANCE PREMIUM TAX ROLLBACK RESOLUTION BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Hart County, in compliance with existing laws pertaining to the funding of services or reduction in taxation of properties in unincorporated Hart County, Georgia as the result of receipt of funds from INSURANCE PREMIUM TAX it is hereby resolved that there shall be an "Insurance Premium Rollback" in the amount of 0.0 mills which shall apply only against the Maintenance and Operations levy for the unincorporated areas of Hart County, Georgia.
