NEW BUSINESS Discussion of an amendment to the Code of Ordinances -] Public Discussion (1): ORDINANCE REVISION: Consideration of approval to adopt the official code of Georgia rules and regulations for body art. Mr. Stephen Andrews and Mr. Brent Phelps presented this item: "MINUTES OF THE EFFINGHAM COUNTY PLANNING BOARD WORKSHOP - October 10, 2024" The rules and regulations for body art, which include tattooing, piercing, and microblading, were passed in March 2022. The county board ofl health adopted these rules back in February 2023. They would like to have the rules adopted to approve a fee schedule. There would be a studio fee of$500 and $100: for a guest artist. Ifthe local level adopts this, they can enforcei it Mr. Steve Candler explained that DPH will do the enforcement, inspections, and collections.
