The Road and Bridge budget meeting will be first next week. Provided an update on the East Vail Pass wildlife crossing project. Provided updates ont the recent visit from Representative Neguse to discuss housing projects and childcare construction projects. Provided updates on the regional opioid abatement fund. She asked for commissioner feedback regarding the funds. She informed that there has been a request from Mind Springs as they, just opened their detox facility in Grand Junction and are struggling to close the gap ino completing the building. They are requesting funding from the Opioid Counsel. Provided updates on a successful meeting with the Buffalo Mountain Metro District. Discussed the problem of three Summit Stage bus stops with failing concrete that needs to Commissioner Pogue be repaired. Provided an overview ont the cost for the Detox program. Sheriff FitzSimons discussed topics including but not limited to: II. Fire Restriction Updates Sherriff FitzSimons update began with a reminder on the factors that the team investigates on whether to recommend Fire Restrictions. Due to these factors, both from last week and this upcoming weekend, restrictions are not recommended at this time but reminded everyone ont the importance of fire safety when it comes to campfires. The Sheriff did note, however, that if rain andi moisture doesn't come this weekend, that might putl levels close enought to goi into restrictions. The Board and Sheriff also briefly discussed the "Red-Flag Warning" for wildfire danger that was sent out earlier this morning and how wildfire danger is different than fire restrictions. The Board did express their willingness to go into Fire Restrictions sooner rather than later as a precautionary measure. III.
