DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC. HEALTH  MINUTES SEPTEMBER 18, 2024  Call to Order:  Stan Hitchcock moved to call to order the Board of] Public Health meeting at 1:02F PM, seconded by Cory Wall. The motion passed by unanimous vote by Dave Hornung. Those present were Cory Wall, Dave Hornung, Stan Hitchcock, Valerie Boyd, Susan Corliss, and Theresa Korbelik. 1.A FY25 WIC. Inter-Agency Partnership MOU with Lincoln County PH&E  1. Action Items:  027-WIC  The WIC contract will provide nutrition education and referrals to all enrolled WIC participants, provide breastfeeding support toj pregnant and postpartum women, administer food benefits to all enrolled, assign an employee to serve as a Local Agency Retail Coordinator, and complete the necessary regulatory and administrative requirements. Stan Hitchcock moved to authorize signing the WIC Inter-Agency Partnership MOU with Lincoln County for the use and benefit of the Kit Carson County Public Health & Environment WIC program; Department 027 CMS#2025*0247 FAA 00028 for the effective period of October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, seconded by Cory Wall. The  motion passed by unanimous vote by Dave Hornung.  1.B FY25 WICInter-Agency, Partnership MOU with Prowers County - PH&E  027-V WIC  Stan Hitchcock moved to authorize signing the WICI Inter-Agency Partnership MOU with Prowers County for the use and benefit of the Kit Carson County Public Health & Environment WIC program; Department 027 CMS#2025*0247 FAA 00028 for the effective period of October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, seconded by Cory Wall. The  motion passed by unanimous vote by Dave Hornung. 2.A PO#24-00552 - Sanofi - Flu Vaccine $9,007.07-PH&E  2. Purchase Orders:  Stan Hitchcock moved to approve Purchase Order #24-00552 for the Public Health PO#4675 to Sanofi for Flu vaccine totaling $9,007.07,seconded by Cory Wall. The motion  passed by unanimous vote by Dave Hornung.  3. Discussion Items: 3.A 2025 Budget Discussion  Work session for 2025 budget.
