Public Hearing Agenda:  a. 2024-16 Porky's Smokehouse Sign Variance  Community Development Director Killian presented the staff report and explained how the variance did meet the Commissioner Tencza and Mayor Au asked why the code was changed because it didn'ts seem to make any sense for the area. Community Development Director Killian agreed and said that it could come back to the Planning Commission to adjust the code for this particular part of town, the highway corridor. Community Development Director Killian confirmed that the sign code was communicated with the property owner directly, when they were deciding to lease the building. The property owner did not transfer the Danal Lane - Dayson' 's girlfriend, no address given. She wanted to explain their hardship because it was written into the lease that the sign was able to be replaced, as is. They were not aware that the property owner was given  notice that the sign did not meet the code. Discussion and Adjourn:  a. Community Development Director Report Juan Vans is moving there, they outgrew their current spaçe. Commissioner Tencza asked about the 3 commercial permits. The planning commission asked for an update and asked some questions about the East signal.  Commissioner Nelson asked about the shared use path plan and asked about the river property. Community Development Director Killian gave updates and let the Planning Commission know that there is a working group The Planning Commission participated in a discussion about the Agriculture Zoning project. There is a working Commissioner Thomas asked about sewer dumping for RV's. Public Works Director Schulzexplained some options for pre-treatment and have had some talks with current developers about having a dump station in town. Design  for parks, ifanyone is interested in participating.  group for Agriculture Zoning.  Standards would need to be updated.
