TMV BAMISO  TOWN OF MELBOURNE VILLAGE  SPECIAL COMIMISSION/ELECtION CEITIFICATION  MINUTES  Thursday August 19, 2021 6:30 PM - Town Hall/Zoom  I. Call to Order at 6:34 pm by Mayor Niemann II. Pledge ofAllegiance Led by Mayor Niemann  III. Roll Call  Present were Mayor Nieman, Vice Mayor Calenda; Commr. 's Jones, Murphy,  McCharles, Anderson, Ingram, Town Clerk Collen..  IV. Election Certification.  Vice Mayor Calenda motioned to read Resolution 2021-01, Commr. Anderson 2nd The resolution contained four available seats for commission and one seat for mayor/commissioner. The Resolution provided that Mayor Niemann who ran un-opposed via petition would remain Mayor and that four commission seats were certified and have several candidates who will be running for the November 2, 2021 election. The Resolution passed The following persons petitioned to run and were certified. *Mayor Tabitha Niemann ran un-opposed for Mayor. *Vice Mayor Valerie Calendar renewed her candidacy for Commission *Jonathan Cronkhite for Commissioner *Sue Ditty for Commissioner *Chris Haley for Commissioner  unanimously by all Commissioners voting yes.  "Commissioner Gary Ingram for Commissioner *Commissioner Peter McCharles for Commissioner "Commissioner Gerda Murphy for Commissioner  V.
