Commissioner Comments: Commissioner Taff asked if public works projects could be put on the webpage. Commissioner Ochoa informed the Commissioners about a homeless camp forming near Rose. She also mentioned speaking with the property owner, who said pesticide spraying would occur in 5to 10 days. Additionally, Commissioner Ochoa shared that she is now a member of the Tulare King Chamber of Commerce. She announced she will be hosting a "Meet and Greet" at the floral shop on October 10th. Lastly, she requested that the Planning Commissioners have their photos posted on the City Commissioner Luna asked about the Semi trucks pulling out on Farmersville Blvd. from Jesus Soto property. Discussion/Analysis The applicant is seeking approval to expand the existing parking lot and related improvements at the. Jackpot gas station/convenience store, located on the northwest corner of Visalia Road and Farmersville Boulevard (see Attachment "A" (location map) and Attachment "B" (aerial photo). The site is zoned "CG" (General Commercial) and the existing and proposed uses are permitted by Conditional Use Permit. A new driveway will be constructed to connect the parking lot to Farmersville Boulevard. The project will also add landscape planters along the street frontage and also along the north property line.
