ROLL CALL Roll Call was taken. ATTENDANCE Chair Matson  Open Space Advisory Committee Members Present:  Committee Member Christian Committee Member Hester Williams Committee Member Artis Vice Chair McClinton-Hester:  Open Space Advisory Committee Members Absent:  ACTION: Motion to excuse Vice Chair MCClinton-Horner absence from the meeting made  by Committee Member Christian, seconded by Committee Member Hester-Williams.  Motion passed unanimously.  PUBLIC COMMENT  Community member Justin Hamilton-Hole made a public comment.  Open Space Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes - December 1, 2021    AGENDA CHANGES None BUSINESS  1. 2022 Parks and Community Services Commission Meeting Calendar Committee Members reviewed the 2022 OSAC Meeting dates. The Committee Members didn't have any requests to change the 2022 meeting calendar. Chair Matson commented she may have a conflict in August but it was too early ini the calendar year too confirm. Committee Member Hester-Williams commented the meeting calendari is set too far in advance to identify any work conflicts she may have in the future. Vice Chair McClinton-Horner: responded via email she did not have any conflicts with 2022 ACTION: Motion to adopt the 2022 OSAC Meeting Calendar made by Committee Member Hester-Williams, seconded by Committee Member Artis. Motion passed Ayes: Chair Matson, Committee Member Christian, Committee Member Hester-  meeting calendar.  unanimously.  Williams, and Committee Member Artis.  Nays: None Abstain: None  Absent: Vice Chair MCClinton-Horner MANAGEMENT AND STAFF REPORTS  1. Receive an Update on the Parks and Recreation Director Recruitment. City Manager Holley reported an update on the Parks and Recreation Director  Recruitment.  COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS AND FUTURE ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION Committee Members commented on items of interest. Committee Member Christian requested to have a future agenda item to discuss the possibly of having cameras installed in the parking lot at Newell Open Space. Committee Member Christian also requested to have a future agenda item to discuss the operations of other open preserve areas verses in  comparison to how Newell Open Space is managed.
