City of Mexico Beach Special Meeting Minutes TUESDAY. UIY302024-728PM  The City of Mexico Beach City Council held a Special Meeting on Tuesday. July 30, 2024, at 7:28 pm at the Public Works Building inl Mexico Beach. Mayor Wolff andt thet following Councilmembers were present: Linda Hamilton, Jerry Smith, Jason Adams and Tim Linderman. Also present were Interim City Administrator, Mel Smigielski and City Clerk, Tammy Brunson.  Call to order: Mayor Wolff called the meeting to order at 7:28 pm.  II.  Regular Agenda: Mayor Wolff explained the reason for the meeting was to: set the tentative millage rate that is due by August 5, 2024. Each council member spoke about what they would like to see for the final budget. Mayor Wollf encouraged everyone not to set the tentative rate too low until wel have thet final budget numbers and remembering we can always loweri it at final adoption. Mrs. Hamilton made a motion, Mr. Linderman seconded to set the tentative millage rate at 5.75. Motion passed with a 4t to 1 vote. No vote  was Mr. Smith.  IX.
