Approval of Meeting Minutes 3.1 April 20, 2022 Council Meeting Minutes Motion made by Council Member Jeff Grenell to approve the April 20, 2022 Council Meeting minutes, seconded by Council Member Ray Nyhuis. Ina voice vote, thei motion passed unanimously 5-0. 3. Consent Agenda 4.1 Ratification of payments made for the following invoices: 4.1.1 All monthly invoices paid electronically since May 31, 2022 to present. Motion made by Council Member Kirby to approve all monthly invoices paid electronically since May 31,2022, seconded by Council Member Grenell. In a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously 5-0. 4. Old Business 5.1 Approval of contract with TetraTech & DRC Emergency Services for Storm Debris Motion was made by Council Member Grenell to enter into an agreement with TetraTech & DRS for debris removal and monitoring, 2nd by Council Member Kirby. In a voice vote, the motion passed 4-1, removal & oversight Council Member Nyhuis voting no. 5.2 Update on Code Enforcement Matter Mayor Willard informed the Council ofthe current issues at 2210Lazy Lanes in regards to fines for failure to comply. There was a discussion on the Interlocal Agreement with the County amending the agreement to provide for reimbursement. There was also discussion on adopting an ordinance to impose cost recovery onl homeowners for code enforcement. There was a discussion on the code issues at 40 NE 24th Street regarding the approval of permits. Council Member commented on the trees growing into the lake and how it is the responsibility oft the homeowners Nyuis to remedy it. 5.3 Update on Ethics requirements, training,& compliance for village officials Village Attorney Anderson gave an update on the Ethics requirements for Village Officials A brief discussion was held on1 the current email & website issues. The Village Website is 5.4 Update on email, & website issues being updated for compliance. currently 5.5 Update on discussion with Wilton Manors Mayor Willard informed the Council ofthe current status of discussions with Wilton Manors 6.1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF LAZY LAKE, CREATING A "VACATION RENTALS" ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR FLORIDA, STANDARDS AND REGISTRATION FOR VACATION RENTALS WITHIN MINIMUM THE VILLAGE; PROVIDE FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY: AND PROVIDING 6.
