Regular City Council Meeting Minutes  July 18, 2024 7:00 p.m.  1. Call to order and announce quorum is present.  Mayor Cardwell called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm and announced a quorum was present. Those present were Mayor Crystal Cardwell, Mayor Pro Tem Christopher Raines, Councilmember Melanie Payne, Councilmember Richard Sidebottom, Councimember Nathanial Butler, City Secretary Jenni Moore, City Admin Staff Michelle  Peterson, and Code Enforcement Officer Devon Kennedy. 2. Pledge of allegiance and invocation.  Mayor Cardwell stated that the allegiance and invocation had previously been completed.  3. Mayor's update. There was no Mayor update. 4. Public Comments. There were no public comments.  5. Consider and act on the following items: A. Council Meeting Minutes for June 20, 2024. B. Accounts Payables for. June, 2024. C.F Financial Statements for June, 2024. Public Works for June 2024.  D. Staff Reports- Municipal Court, Building Permits, Code Enforcement, and Mayor Pro Tem Raines motioned to approve A through D as a whole. Councimember 6. Discuss, consider and act on a Interlocal Agreement with Texas Municipal Councimember Payne motioned to act on the Interlocal Agreement with Texas Municipal League for cyber liability and data breach coverage. Mayor Pro Tem second the motion. 7. Discuss, consider and act on funding for the architectural plans for the new Councimember Sidebottom motioned to act on the funding for the architectural plans for the new City Hall in the amount of $10,000. Councimember Butler second the motion. Councimember Sidebottom, Councimember Payne and Councilmember Butler approved. Mayor Pro Tem Raines recused himself. Motion was passed.  Butler second the motion. All approved. Motion was passed. League for cyber liability and data breach coverage.  All approved. Motion passed.  City Hall.  1    8. Discuss, consider and act on the purchase of storm sirens.  Council advised for this item to be placed on the list of future projects to explore ona priority basis with other improvement projects. This item was tabled and no action was  taken.  9. Meeting Adjourn.  Mayor Cardwell adjourned the meeting at 7:33 pm.
