City ofMustang Ridge Council Meeting #729 May 20th, 2024  1. Council meeting #729 was called to order by Mayor David Bunn at 7:01 p.m.  2. Council members present were Moraima Duran, Gabriel Vallejo, Casondra Dailey, Adrienne M. 3. ChiefKen Bailey wanted to give the council an update on the upcoming Station #1106 which will have 8 firefighters, a fire truck, Battalion Chief, a fire engine and will be running 24 hours, 7  Deal, Cecilia Padilla-Lopez.  days a week. Old Business:  4. Casondra Dailey made a motion to approve Stallion Run Phase 4 Final Plat with conditions. 5. Casondra Dailey made a motion to approve the final plat for Laws Ranch Subdivision Phase 1  Gabriel Vallejo seconded. Motion carried 5/0.  with conditions. Adrienne M. Deal seconded. Motion carried 5/0.  New Business:  6. Casondra Dailey made a motion to deny the Laws Ranch Phase 2 Final Plat. Gabriel Vallejo 7. Casondra Dailey made a motion to approve Tomahawk Phase 1 Final Plat with conditions. 8. Casondra Dailey made a motion to allow the enginers to make the decision to pick which of the  seconded. Kristi Hester gave a progress report presentation from Camino Real Utility (a subsidiary of BVRT) regarding water and wastewater infrastructure construction projects.  10. No action on freeport exemption.  11. Moraima Duran made a motion to approve Resolution No. 24-239, a resolution establishing fines and fees for violation ofOrdinance 23-00456 (Animal Control). Moraima Duran made a motion to approve an application of Camino Real Utilities for retail wastewater rates, services, and tariff within the City'sjurisdiction in the Durango/Trails subdivision; including discussion and possible action on Ordinance No. 24-00484 approving the tariff proposed in the application of Camino Real Utilities. Cecilia Padilla-Lopez seconded. 13. Casondra Dailey made a motion to approve a request from Chester Davis owner of American Fireworks requesting his company and other legal fireworks retail/vendors be allowed to sell  seconded. Motion carried 4/1 Abstained (Adrienne M. Deal.)  Motion carried 4/1 Abstain Casondra Dailey.    fireworks in the city limits for the July 4th season only and set a workshop for council to meet. Moraima Duran made a motion to approve on the request of Chief] Belmares to add one additional full-time position to the City's police department; requesting approval to hire.
