Mayor Rhodes, gave the invocation. Mayor Pro-Tem Magerkurth led the pledges. 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES AND TO THE TEXAS FLAG. 4. UPDATES, PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS Proclamation. Mayor Rhodes proclaimed the month of July Parks and Recreation Month and recognized department staff members who were present. 5. CITIZEN COMMENTS. There were no citizen comments. 6. CONSENT AGENDA. (a) Approval of the minutes of the. June 18, 2024 regular meeting. (c) Approval of the acceptance of a proposal from Alpha Paving Industries, LLC in an amount not to exceed $53,944.00 to remove existing pavement markings, apply thermoplastic pavement markings in the downtown area, and authorize the City (d) Approval of an agreement with Asphalt, Inc. LLC (dba Lonestar Paving), in an amount not to exceed $319,962.60, to rehabilitate pavement for Manzano Mile, including seal coating and striping, and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement. Mayor Rhodes requested that item 6(b) be moved to the regular agenda for discussion. Mayor Pro-Tem Magerkurth moved to approve consent agenda items 6(a), 6(c), and 6(d). Councilmember Morris seconded the motion. The agenda was approved by a voteo of5-0. Approval of Resolution 2024-R-07A authorizing the publication of a Notice of Intention to Issue "City of Marble Falls, Texas Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation, Series 2024". Councilmember Morris seconded the motion. The motioncarried by a unanimousvote (5-0). 8. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT. City Manager Mike Hodge did not provide a report. 9. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
