Hicks) McKenzi Hicks, Interim Planning Director, presented the Projects in Motion Report. The Annexation List shown on thei first page oft the report are ETJ releases right now. There aret five that are being considered by the Council at this time. Under the Zoning Requests there isa Conditional Use Permit Request for Benmark that is currently being reviewed for outdoor storage. There has been one new submission for a storage facility under site plans. The items int the plats section are on the Planning and Zoning Commission agenda this evening. Therei isa potential roadway CIP project for the Stonewall extension that is still being evaluated under the Commissioner Keller asked McKenzi about the 24-hour smoke shop located downtown. McKenzi responded because at the moment the City's zoning code does not have a explicit use for that and it is classified as retail commercial and that is whyi iti is permitted downtown. The Commission expressed concerns over the operation hours of the smoke shop. Commissioner Vyner asked if the City continues to provide water and wastewater to the properties int the ETJ releases? McKenzi responded that legal is currently reviewing. construction section oft the report. b) Receive the Future Items Report. (M. Hicks) McKenzi Hicks, Interim Planning Director, presented the Future Items Report. At the next Planning and Zoning Commission meeting McKenzi will have a presentation to recapi thei initiatives oft the Comp Plan and what ist the role of the Planning and Zoning Commission. McKenzi informed the board that there may be more meetings when the Commission starts working on the UDC rewrite. Commissioner Cormack asked about starting the Cross Committee Communication meetings back up andi if anyone would like to spearhead that meeting. Commissioner Keller expressed interest in spearheading this meeting. Commissioner Cormack will email her information. 7) PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT COMMENTS McKenzi Hicks, Interim Planning Director, updated the Commission on two City Council items Development Guidelines Amendment: and Pape-Dawson Task Order No. 1A.
