Muncy Borough Council Minutes Council Minutes August 6, 2024  The meeting of thel Muncy Borough Council was calledt to order in the Library/Media Center oft the Muncy High School at 5:00pm by] President Scott Delany followed by thel Pledge of Allegiance and ai moment ofs silence for our Council Members Present: Ryan Scruggs, Steve Shank, Thad Martin (5:07pm), George Henry (calli in), Vice President Richard Sutton and Council President Scott Delany. Council Members Absent: Bill Scott Borough Employees present were Borough Manager Charley Hall, Chief. Jim Dorman and officer David Williams.  Armed Forces, First Responders & Frontline Workers.  Solicitor Chris Kenyon called in and Mayor Jon Ort was absent  Public Attendance: Chip Gottschall, William Lyons, Logan Laidacker, Linda Stein, Buzz Baker  Public Participation on agenda items only: None  Dick Sutton made ar motion to approve the. July 18, 2024 council minutes. Ryan Scruggs 2nd the motion. All werei in Dick Sutton made a motion to approve the check disbursements and bank balances. Ryan Scruggs 2nd the motion. Ryan Scruggs made a motion to renew thel New Wave Energy Contract. Dick Sutton 2nd the motion. Motion carried. Dick Sutton made a motion to renew the Fire Service Agreement with addendum. George Henry 2nd the motion. Dick Sutton made a motion toj pay thel Big Rock Pavingi invoice out of the general fund toj protect the money in Steve Shank made a motion to approve the $500 contribution tot the Veterans Parade. Thad] Martin 2nd the motion. Dick Sutton made a motion to withdrawal from Penn Strategies contract. Ryan 2nd the motion. All werei in favor 6-0 There willl be a public meeting on August 29th or September 3rd at 6:30pm to allow the public to express their Borough Manager Charley Hall gave as status on Flood Buyout Properties. No action will take place until next year Bill Lyons expressed his continued disappointment in the borough staff for trimming his bush out oft the right of  favor.  All were in favor.
