Special Council Meeting Council Chambers Monongahela, PA July16,2024  Minutes oft the regular meeting oft the Council oft the City ofl Monongahela, due notice of which meeting was published according tol law, held Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 9:00 A.M., in Council Chambers. The meeting was called to order by Councilman Sarver who led in the pledge  to thel Flag.  The roll was called and the following present:  Roy Sarver Daryl Miller Mark Gadd  Councilwoman O'Brien was unable to attend the meeting inj person and called in via  teleconference. Report ofCity Clerk Nothing tol Report Report of Mayor Garry Nothing tol Report Report of Accounts & Finance Nothing tol Report Report of Public Safety Nothing to) Report Report of Streets & Improvements  It was moved by Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Gadd, to trade. in the 2021 Bucher City Cat 5006 Street Sweeper to A & HI Equipment toj purchase a 2023 Elgin Street Sweeper for $169,040.11 through COSTARS Contract Number 25-E22-458, and the same was agreed tol by the following Yea and Nay vote tot the call oft the roll by the Clerk:  Yeas Roy Sarver Sarah O'Brien Daryl Miller Mark Gadd  Total Yeas 4 Nays 0 Garry and sO ordered.  The motion having received the majority vote of Council the same was declared by Mayor Councilman Miller asked Dorothea Pemberton to present the financing quotes for the  purchase oft the 20231 Elgin Street Sweeper Community Leasing Partners Amount Financed: Interest Rate: Terms in Years: Annual Payment: First Payment Due: Fees & Expenses:  Presentation of Financing Quotes for the 2023 Elgin Street Sweeper:  $169,040.00 5.64% 6 $33,746.12 June 2025 with the proposal.  No additional documentation or closing fees associated    FNB Commercial Leasing Amount Financed: Interest Rae: Terms in Years: Annual Payment: First Payment Due: Fees & Expenses:  $169,040.00 5.52% 6 $33,859.70  One year from the closing date. Approximate closing fees $650.00  FNB: has the lower interest rate by. .12. However, the 6 annual payments to  Community Leasing are lower than FNB's annual payments by $113.58 per year. Also, there are no document preparation or closing costs associated with Community Leasing whereas FNB's  closing fees are approximately $650.00  It was moved by Councilman Miller, seconded by Councilman Gadd, to accept the proposal of Community Leasing Partners to: finance 2023 Elgin Street Sweeper ini the amount of $169,040.00, at ani interest rate of5.64%, for six years, with annual payments of $33,746.12, and payments to begin June 2025, and the same was agreed to by the following Yea and Nay vote to  the call ofthe roll by the Clerk:  Yeas Roy Sarver Sarah O'Brien Daryll Miller Mark Gadd  Total Yeas 4 Nays 0 Garry and sO ordered.
