The City Attorney was requested to draft an amendment to the current trash ordinance to be brought back before City Council. No action was taken on this topic. .D Discussion of Property Tax Increase There was discussion on the proposed property tax: increase. Mr. Chastain, the Tax Assessor, stood and spoke on the upcoming house bill and how it would affect municipalities and city residents. Mr. Thompson and Mr. Chastain also briefly spoke to the various discrepancies ofthe tax digest. No action was taken.
