Authority from Slade Gulledge Robust project activity with both Georgia Department of Economic Development and Independent brokers on land in both the Thomaston-Upson and Central Georgia Business parks- The Thomaston-Upson IDA thanks to Upson County Government was able to place an ad in Georgia Trend Magazine in the June edition highlighting our Economic Development The IDA has entered into a 3-year partnership with Be Pro Be Proud Georgia, a state-wide workforce Development initiative. The IDA led a trip up to Ashley, Indiana to tour the Brighemark Facility- Great trip and It was covered locally in the Upson If anyone has any questions about Brightmark, the Thomaston Circularity Center project, please come see me. Most expenditures are not recognized! inr real time. Through August 15, we havel had 16 payroll periods out of26. AS good approximation: for most expenditures would be 62% to 67% of budget to be inar normal range. Some line items are above and most of this is caused from the County Finance staff creating new account numbers in ane efforttor make all ofc our accounts and naming conventions the same across None oft the departments are outside of budgete expectations in total. Alla are actually doing veryy well. Revenues besides property taxes are doing well against budget. The $72,171 In Intergovemmental. revenues for Fund 205 represent amounts billedt to Lamar, Pike, and Butts Counties forr meals.. AE budget adjustment needs tol ber made reclassify a portion out ofthe amount budgeted for Senior Center Meal Reimbursements.
