McIntosh Town Council Minutes Mcintosh Town Council Meeting Civic Center 5835 Avenue G Jan. 9, 2020 The meeting was called to order with the reciting of the Pledge to the Flag. Callahan, Council Member Roddy, Council Member Dodd, Mayor Hamilton, Roll call was taken with Council President Mullikin, Council Member Ciotti, Council Vice-President Town Manager Nelson present. Consent Agenda Items: was read. Attorney Wolking and 1) Minutes of the Town Council Meetings for Dec. 2019 were read. The financial report for Dec. 2019 Council Member Callahan made a motion to accept the minutes and financial Council Member Roddy seconded the motion. Motion passed and carried 5-0 report. consent agenda. to accept the Guests. Citizen Comments: David Densmore- requested more information about the CDBG grant. It was decided that informational meeting will be held at Sportsman's Cove to answer citizen's questions. an Kay Nolan- had a letter read into the record regarding shooting fireworks in the town limits. there was a state law regarding fireworks and did not feel that the town needed ordinance. Nolan requested that before holidays reminders about the state firework to create a local the town website/water bills reminding residents that fireworks are illegal. Dodd said law be put on Citizen Board Committee Updates: Message from the Town Manager: Audit- delayed because the auditor needed to take medical leave. The audit will be presented in March Message from the Attorney: Unfinished Business: New Business: A. Walkup had passed and recognized his service to the town and community Ciotti- will not attend the Feb. meeting Hamilton- Dodd- asked that a new TV be secured for the civic center Roddy- Message from Mayor: said he hated to see Melinda Jones resign from two of the town's committees.
