Announced that Light Up Mcintosh would be on Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at the civic center. Citizen Board Committee Updates: Don Medieros- 5-0 Roddy made a motion to accept Medieros to the LPA/BOA Board Callahan seconded. Motion passed Message from the Town Manager: Paving-Paving almost complete on 8th St., 7th and Ave B was graded, and a new culvert added, patching Speed Radar Equipment- Nelson and the Mayor met with the Sheriff and discussed using one sales tax initiative money to purchase data collection boxes and speed radar signs dependent on DOT's Festival- 34,700 people attended the 1890s festival this year. These events help charitable and civic groups fund their activities for the year. A note of thanks to the Friends of Mcintosh for their hard work. Message from the Attorney: Unfinished Business: New Business: David Fox- spoke to council concerning applying for a $600,000.00 CDBG grant that could be used to revitalized water line repair/replacement, sewer line repair and replacement, water system improvements, paving, drainage, community center and parks. Fox said that a survey would need to be conducted to show that 51% of the town's residents met the income limits of the 24-month grant. The town first needed to form a Citizens Advisory Task Force Committee. Requirements for CAFTA members are as follows: The CATF requirements are: 1. There must be at least five (5) individuals serving on the CATF. 2. All of the members of the CATF must live within the Town Limits.
