Allen Village Administrative Assistant The meeting was called to order by Mayor Richard Willard at 6:30p.m. It was determined a quorum was APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES 2.1.1 -November 2, 2021 Village Council Meeting Minutes Motion made by Council Member Copher, seconded by Council Member Nyhuis, to approve. the minutes of the November 2, 2021 Village Council meeting minutes. Ina a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously. (3-0) 3. CONSENT AGENDA 3.1 Ratification of payments made for the following invoices: a) All monthly invoices paid electronically since 11/2/21 toj present [see attachment). Motion made by Council Member Copher, seconded by Council Member Nyhuis, to approve item 3, Consent Agenda. Ina voice vote, the motion passed unanimously. (3-0) 4. NEW BUSINESS 4.1 Retention ofMelissa Anderson as Village. Attorney Member Kaufman. In a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously. Disposal Services Thej proposed amendment extends the current agreement for an additional five years. Motion made by Council Member Kaufman to approve agreement, seconded by Council Member Nyhuis. In a voice vote, the motion passed unanimously. (3-0) 4.41 Discussion of Short-Term rental conçerns The council discussed possible ordinance to mandate short-term rentals. No action was taken. 5. OLDI BUSINESS 5.1 5.2 5.3 Update on office relocation & approval to execute new lease Council discussed month toi month $6501 lease agreement. Council consensus tot table until next meeting. Update on code enforcement matters Update on discussions with Wilton Manors Discussion is still ongoing. Detailed information regarding merger will be forwarded to residents once obtained. Mark DePaulo - conçerned with the agenda process. He would like tol know what services are available to resident. Police/Fire. He would like tol be able to voice his concerns with Council. * Dana Merrill - feels residents do not have proper time to express concerns. 10.
