INGLIS RECREATION COMMITTEE MINUTES  March 20, 2023  MISSION STATEMENT: The Inglis Recreation Committee mission is to promote recreation and  education oft the children, seniors and families in our community.  Pledge Roll Call:  Yuliana Robledo, Vice Chairman Helen Ciallella Ruth Ruppert Tamara Slagle Isaac Young, Commissioner Lisa Levesque  Terri Norton, secretaly/treasurer  Lynne Tate Carlos Robledo  Scott Levesque Mayor White  And 17 visitors int the audience  Chairman's Report: Due to illness Raejean was not at the meeting  Treasurer's Report: Still has $1,652.18 in our account in town hall. (Tamara Slagle is looking into this and will give us this information). The amount stated is what we had in the IRC account before the pandemic. Ifany money has been added or subtracted, we were not advised ofi it. Secretary's Report: Minutes of February 20, 2023 minutes need to be amended because ofa a date change. Lynne Tate made a motion to amend the minutes to change the date of the Spring Fling from Lynne Tate made a motion to have Ruth Ruppert lead the meeting in place of Yuliana Robledo, Terri Scott Levesque stated in the by laws that elections were to be held each year, Lisa Levesque 2nd. Sue Sims said a date should be determined on the election of officers. Discussion- - Someone said that it was  April 15, 20231 to April 22, 2023. Helen Ciallella 2nd-r motion carried.  Norton 2nd-r motion carried.  supposed to bei in. January. Vote taken. Votei failed 3-6. Returned to original agenda - Spring Fling for the CO lead, Lynne Tate 2nd-n motion carried.  Since Raejean LaFlower isill, Terri Norton will co-lead this project. Motion was made by Ruth Ruppert    Music was still upi in the air, Isaac put money into the IRC account for the music, ifs sent by VENMO, no way to trace and account for the deposit. Ruth Ruppert will check into a DJ for the event. Isaac thinks he  can locate al karaoke machine.  Tamara Slagle will check into at tent from the National Guard. Food - Carlos Robledo will be there with his food truck.  The Lion's club has a popcorn machine and will be there with it per Lynne Tate Lisa Levesque volunteered to bei in charge of the volunteers.  Commissioner Young will make sure the grounds are mowed and sprayed for pests. Clean up by all- - check with the FFA about helping with this event. Final Meeting for the Spring Fling willl be Monday, April 10th, 6 pm at Town Hall.  Nominations at the April 17th meeting, checks Grants and By Laws. Mayor White wants 51 people who  live and vote in Inglis on the board.  Terri Norton made a motion to adjourn, Helen Ciallella 2nd-n motion carried  Meeting adjourned at 7:16 pm  Final meeting for the Spring Fling will be April 10, 2023
