SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 JASPER, FLORIDA  SPECIALSESSION  The Board of County Commissioners, Hamilton County, Florida, met in special session on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 5:05 p.m. in the Board Room, 207 Northeast First Street, Jasper, Florida. Present were Commissioners Jimmy Murphy, Robert Brown, Richie McCoy and Travis Erixton. Robbie Roberson was unable tol bei in attendance. Also present were County Coordinator Gary Godwin and Finance Director  Sheri Davis.  The meeting was called to order by Chairman McCoy. The following business was transacted.  PUBLIC HEARING- TENTATIVE BUDGET HEARING - 2024 -2 2025 FISCAL  YEAR  Chairman Brown opened the Public Hearing at 5:05 p.m.  Clerk of Court Greg Godwin gave the Board an overview of the 2024-2025 Clerk of Court Greg Godwin read resolution 2024-20 adopting the Tentative levying of ad valorem taxes and resolution 2024-21 adopting the Tentative Budget for  budget process.  fiscal year 2024-2025. meeting at 5:08 p.m.  Chairman Brown then closed the Public Hearing and reconvened the Board Motion by Commissioner Brown to adopt the following resolution:  Resolution 2024-20 adopting the Tentative Levying of Ad Valorem taxes  for Hamilton County for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.  Second was made by Commissioner Erixton, motion carried with a unanimous Motion by Commissioner Erixton to adopt the following resolution:  vote.  Resolution 2024-21 adopting the Tentative Budget for Hamilton County  for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.  Second was made by Commissioner Murphy, motion carried with a unanimous  vote.  1    There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:13 p.m.  LAK RICHIE!
