PURPOSES. 4. NEW BUSINESS a. CONSIDERATION OF REVISED DEMOLITION PLAN AND SUBMISSION OF LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR 19 COUNTRY ROAD SOUTH; During the demolition, the contractor realized the cost to remove and replace the reinforced sections of the exterior walls, to support the raised roof height, was far more cost prohibitive than removing the walls down to the footers and foundation. They are requesting a revision to the demolition to include all exterior walls of both the main house and the guest house be removed except for the garage walls. The landscape plans show proposed removal of thirteen palms and four hardwood trees in conflict with home improvements. The new landscape plans have twelve trees and fourteen additional palms proposed to cover the required tree/canopy replacement. New landscape has been proposed along the re-designed entry and pool deck areas, as well as guest house. Shade trees (Oak and Buttonwood) are proposed in compensation to the canopy loss and specially around the perimeter of the property. Some existing palms (Foxtails) are being proposed to be re-grouped to create clusters on the North side of the property.
