Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes- . November 27, 2018 The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday, November 27, 2018. The following members were present: Chairman Mark Blankenship; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Two Commissioner Steve McKinnon; District Three Commissioner Charles W. Gary; and District Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson. Chairman Blankenship called the meeting to order at 10:15am. Commissioner Wilson opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Carroll followed with prayer. APPROVED - AGENDA Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the agenda. Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED = MEMORANDUM OF WARRANTS Accounts Payable Check Numbers 81915-82081. Payroll Check Numbers: 154514-154519. Direct Deposit Check Numbers: 29048-29324. Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the following Memorandum of Warrants: Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED - NOVEMBER 14.2018 MINUTES Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the Minutes of the Commission Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. APPROVED - WORK REQUEST - TOWN OF NEWTON Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve a work request from the Town of Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. Newton. See Exhibit 2. APPROVED - PERSONNEL Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve the following: 1. Robert Rhodes - Transfer - Jailer to Deputy Sheriff. Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED = EXECUTIVE SESSION Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve going into Executive Session for: 1) General Reputation and Character 2) Matters of Commerce of Trade. Also, that the Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. Commission reconvene after the Executive Session. APPROVED = PERSONNEL Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the following at the payrate of $13.61/hour in lieu of $16.00/hour. 1. Jerod "Heath" Parker. - New Hire = Maintenance Technician. Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.
