Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes. - October 23, 2018  The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday October 23, 2018. The following members were present: Chairman Mark Blankenship; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Two Commissioner Steve McKinnon; District Three Commissioner Charles W. Gary; and District Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson. Chairman Blankenship called the meeting to order at 10:15am. Commissioner McKinnon opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Wilson followed with  prayer.  APPROVED - AGENDA  Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the agenda, adding an employee changes status for Jim Deloney. Also, to give a letter of support for the Dale County-  Ozark Bicentennial Committee.  Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED  MEMORANDUM OF WARRANTS  Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve the following Memorandum of  Warrants:  Accounts Payable Check Numbers 81457-81587. Payroll Check Numbers: 154507-154508. Direct Deposit Check Numbers: 28768-28907.  Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - OCTOBER 9, 2018 MINUTES  CommissionerW/ilson made a motion to approve the Minutes of the Commission Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Dale County Commission  Commission Meeting Minutes - October 23, 2018  Page2of3  APPROVED - TRAVEL REQUEST  Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve the following travel requests:  Steve McKinnon and Frankie Wilson - ACCA Legislative Workshop - Derek Brewer, Engineer - ACCA Legislative Conference - December 4-5,  October 24-25, 2018 3-$325.00 each.  2018 - $350.00.  Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED  WORK REQUEST - ROAD & BRIDGE  Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the repair of potholes behind Dale County High School - $1,112.80 estimate - 100% reimbursed by the Dale County Board  of Education.  Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - PERSONNEL  Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the following:  1. Steve Baxley - Promotion - Chief Jailer. 2. Bobby Oldham - Promotion- Security Guard Deputy in Training. 3. Brandon Tucker = Promotion - Jail Supervisor. 4. Richard Oldham - Transfer - Deputy Sheriff, Sheriff dept. Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - PERSONNEL  Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the following: 1. Jim Deloney - Promotion - Assistant Supervisor.  Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye, except Commissioner Carroll  who abstained. Motion carried. Motion carried.  Bicentennial County Grant in the amount of $5,000.00.  ANNOUNCEMENT = NEXT REGULAR MEETING  Chairman Blankenship announced that the next regular meeting of the Dale County  Commission will be Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.  ADJOURNMENT: CONFIRMATORY STATEMENT  Commission Gary made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Wilson  seconded the motion. All voted aye. Motion carried.
