Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes - April 24, 2018  The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday, April 24, 2018. The following members were present: Chairman Mark Blankenship; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Two Commissioner Steve McKinnon; District Three Commissioner Charles Chairman Blankenship called the meeting to order at 11:00 am. Commissioner Carroll opened  W. Gary; and District Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson.  with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Gary followed with prayer.  APPROVED - MINUTES  Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the minutes of the April 10, 2018 regular session  commission meeting.  Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - TRAVEL REQUEST  Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve thet following travel request:  1) Aaron Meeks and Linda Miller, Safety Coordinator Training, - June 7, 2018 - 2) Andrew Faulk and Klaudia Brophy = Road & Bridge Dept = June 20-22, 2018-  $121.00 each.  CIMS User Conference -$1,380.00.  Commissioner McKinnon seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - PERSONNEL  Commissioner Wilson made a motion to approve the following:  1) Cheyanna M. Hargraves - Correctional Officer- - Jail - $9.60 per hour-f full-time. 3) Adding two (2) Sergeant-Patrol positions (2% payi increase) and eliminating one (1)  2) Bobby Oldham - Correctional Officer - Jail -$9.60 per hour. Deputy Sheriff position in the Sheriff's department.  Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried  APPROVED - CONTRACTS  Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve the following tax revenue agreements with  Avenu Insights & Analytics, LLC d/b/a RDS:  1) Sales and Use Tax, Revenue Administration Agreement. 2) Tobacco Tax Revenue Administration Agreement.  Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - GRANT  Commissioner McKinnon made a motion to approve Chairman Mark Blankenship to apply for a Wiregrass RC&D Grant to repaint the old Clopton School house- voting location for Beat 10,  Clopton voting for Dale County.  Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - MEMORANDUM OF WARRANTS  Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the following memorandum of warrants:  1) Payroll check numbers 154456 - 154457. 2) Payroll direct deposit numbers 27018-27154. 3) Accounts Payable check numbers 79603 -79755.  Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - 2018 COUNTY HOLIDAYSlafter.uly 18. 2018)  Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the 2018 Holidays that are coming up after July  18, 2018- the start of the new 10-hour- = 4-day work week. Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED = PURCHASE  Commissioner Wilson made a motion to approve a Road & Bridge department purchase of  a20' trailer for under $15,000.00  Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED - PERSONNEL  Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the following for the Road & Bridge department:  1) Dan Terry - Foreman- - $15.00/hour.  2) Chris Marshall - Equipment Operator III-$14.44/hour. 3) Andrew Faulk - Engineering Assistant II- $15.26/hour. 4) Juan Hernandez - Equipment Operator II-$14.00/hour Commissioners Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried.  APPROVED = SHERIFF P-25 RADIO SYSTEM  Commissioner Carroll made a motion to authorize Chairman Mark Blankenship to sign the necessary paperwork to join the City of Dothan's P-25 Core if the following conditions are met: 2) Cost of agreement with the City of Dothan's P-25 Core- $25,000.00 per year. 3) The signing oft this agreement would result in no additional cost to the Dale County 4) The County be able to terminate the current P-25 Core Agreement with Baldwin 5) The County would be able to terminate the current CenturyLink agreement for connection to Baldwin County's P-25 Core. This would save the Dale County  1) The County's attorney reviews the agreement.  Commission or the Dale County Sheriff's Department.  County.  Commission $696.16 monthly.
