COLN Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes- March 12, 2019 The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday, March 12, 2019. The following members were present: Chairman Mark Blankenship; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Three Commissioner Charles W. Gary; and District Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson. Absent: District Two Commissioner Steve Chairman Blankenship called the meeting to order at 10:20am. Commissioner Carroll opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Gary followed with prayer. McKinnon. APPROVED = AGENDA Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the agenda. Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED MEMORANDUM OF WARRANTS Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve the following Memorandum of Warrants: Accounts Payable Check Numbers 82889-83024. Payroll Check Numbers: 154545-154547. APPROVED - VIETNAM WAR MEMORIAL MONUMENT Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve a Vietnam War Memorial monument to be placed on County property at the Dale County Administrative Office building (202 Hwy. 123, South, Ozark, Alabama). This monument will be for Dale, Houston, Coffee, and Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. Geneva counties and no cost to Dale County. APPROVED = JAIL AD VALOREM EXPENSE = FUND1 151 Commissioner Wilson made a motion to approve payment, $6,262.00, oft fencing from the Jail Ad Valorem Fund 151. See Exhibit #2. APPROVED - BOARD APPOINTMENT - SPECTRACARE HEALTHSYSTEMS Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the reappointment of Mrs. Shannon Williams to the SpectraCare Health Systems, Inc. Board of Directors. Commissioner Wilson seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED - BOARD APPOINTMENT. - WIREGRASS RC&D Commissioner Carroll made a motion to approve the appointment of Mr. Steve McKinnon and Mr. Charles Gary to the' Wiregrass Resource Conservation and Development Council to serve on the Local Committee. The term is from April 1, 2019 to April 1, 2021 or as long as they are on the County Commission. Commissioner Gary seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED = BULLOCKFARMS SUBDIMISION PLAT Commissioner Gary made a motion to approve the County Engineer to sign the Bullock Farm subdivision plat, but there is no acceptance of the subdivision streets for maintenance by the County.
