COUTA MISS Dale County Commission Commission Meeting Minutes = April12,2022 The Dale County Commission convened in a regular session Tuesday, April 12, 2022. The following members were present: Chairman Steve McKinnon; District One Commissioner Chris Carroll; District Two Commissioner Donald O. Grantham; District Three Commissioner Charles W. Gary; and District Four Commissioner Frankie Wilson. Chairman McKinnon called the meeting to order at 10:00am. Commissioner Wilson opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Carroll followed with prayer. APPROVED - AGENDA Commissioner Grantham made a motion to approve the agenda. Commissioner Carroll seconded the motion, all voted aye. Motion carried. APPROVED - SURPLUS EQUIPMENT - ROAD & BRIDGE Commissioner Grantham made a motion to approve the request to surplus equipment in Road & Bridge department. See Exhibit 4. APPROVED - REQUEST TO BID CUSTODIAL SERVICES Commissioner Wilson made a motion to approve the request to seek bids for custodial services for the Dale County Commission. APPROVED - CREEL RICHARDSON ROAD = GENERAL FUND EXPENSE Commissioner Grantham made a motion to approve the General Fund, 001, to reimburse the Gas Tax for work done on parking lot that was not reimbursed by the DCBOE. WHEREAS, the Alabama Rules of Judicial Administration 5 (C)gives the authority to close court offices to the circuit clerk unless court is in session. No courtofficial has the authorityt to close anynon-judicial loffice;and, various satellite offices be closed for non-essential services; and, WHEREAS, from time-to-time, weather conditions require that the County Courthouse and WHEREAS, it may be necessary to close the County Courthouse complex and various satellite offices when the health and safety of citizens and employees arei in imminent danger; and, WHEREAS, the Dale County Commission desires for the Commission Chairman to coordinate with the Presiding Circuit Court Judge of the 33rd Judicial Circuit the closing of the County Courthouse Complex and Probate and Revenue Commission satellite offices, when situations are deemed necessary. If the Commission Chairman is unavailable, the following is the chain of command for the County: duly designated Acting Chairman, County Administrator.
