Onar motion by Tim McDaniel and seconded by Susie Cvechko, the meeting minutes from the October meetings have been approved. No Exonerations were presented. Connie Kaufman presented fifteen (15) final settlements. On a motion by Phil Hart and seconded by Connie Kaufman had a discussion regarding the Isaac. J. Collins estate. There is a claim against the estate that is preventing the final settlement. Thomas Hoxie was consulted and per state code, ift the Administratrix disagrees with the claim, a challenge must be made in writing and submitted to the County Clerk. On a motion by Tim McDaniel The Barbour County Economic Development Authority submitted a request for county match to their LED grant from the WV Development Office. The maximum grant from the state has decreased to $14,400, however they are requesting the commitment of $24,000. On a motion by Tim McDaniel and seconded by Susie Cvechko, the county match commitment of $24,000 was approved. Tim McDaniel commented that in order to continue moving forward, hei feels committing $24,0001 is necessary. Ar request from Philip Barbour Girls' Softball was submitted int the amount of $20,000 for lighting. A discussion was held regarding the total project cost, various in-kind matches, and other fundraisers. Resources are being reviewed for funding possibilities to fund improvements to the camp. Discussions were held regarding a potential contract with Atlas for GIS needs that would benefit the Assessor, OEM and 911.
