Jedd Schola. 3/0 Mike Burke and Mike Rohaly, Northern Appalachian Coal Mining Heritage Association, presented an interactive coal mine ride project that is under construction and located adjacent to the NACMHA Museum in Marion County. Participants will sit in a reconditioned four-person mine cart inside a room that looks like a mine and view a short informative video. The group requested financial assistance for project. The Commission will keep the project under consideration. Sheriff Carpenter reported on the tax office vacancy. A taser training class was being held today and offered to the Dog Warden. He also requested the commission to consider appointing Jacob Bob Richardson inquired to the Sheriff about the status of the Hunters Fork Neighborhood Watch paperwork; the Sheriff responded he would get him the paperwork. Bounce Back to School and Safety Fair events are being combined and held on. July 22nd from 12pm-6pm on the Courthouse square. Alderson Broaddus University is expecting two bands totaling approximately 200 members. County Commission audits are being conducted byt the WV: State Auditor's office for 2019-20 and 2020-21. They are scheduled to continue audits and catching upi through the current fiscal year. Executive Session was entered to discuss Opioid Litigation at 10:19am on a motion by.
