RESOLUTION NO. 2021-14 WHEREAS, AT&T has requested to modify an existing wireless telecommunication facility located at 655 South Main Street South, Brundidge, AL to provide wireless services essentially within the corporate limits and police jurisdiction WHEREAS, AT&T has complied with City's Ordinance No. 2008-02 and has demonstrated the need for this WHEREAS, both the City and AT&T customers in Brundidge will benefit from improved service; and WHEREAS, the City's consultant, The Center for Municipal Solutions (CMS), recommends the granting of a Special Use Permit for modification of this telecommunication facility located at 655 South Main Street South, Brundidge, that AT&T is hereby granted a Special Use Permit to modify the existing the telecommunication facility at 655 South Main Street South, Brundidge, AL. As recommended by CMS, the Special Use Permit is subject to compliance with the 1. Prior to the issuance of the Building Permit, AT&T or the tower owner must submit for review and approval by the City, a guy tension report dated within the previous three years. If guy tension is noted to be outside of recommendations, a remediation report shall be required to show the guyt tensions were corrected. 2. Prior to the issuance of the Building Permit, AT&T or the tower owner must submit for review and approval by the City, a twist and plumb report for the guy tower. Report shall be dated within the previous three years. Report shall include all measurements, calculations and methodology used to determine the results oft the report. 3. Prior to the issuance of the Building Permit, AT&T or the tower owner must submit for review and approval by the City, a remediation report for all safety items noted as deficient on the submitted ANSI/TIA-222-G Annex J: 4. To prevent warehousing of permits or authorizations and to assure the best service to the City's residents as expeditiously as possible, the facility must be built, activated, and be providing service no later than one hundred eighty (180) days after the issuance of the Special Use Permit or other applicable authorization, subject to commonly accepted force majeure exceptions acceptable to the City. AT&T may petition the Cityf for an extension of this for good cause shown, but the decision whether to grant the extension shall exclusively be the prerogative 5.
