RESOLUTION NO. 2022-11  WHEREAS, the 2020 Census shows that the single-member districts from which the City of Brundidge elects council members must be reapportioned to comply with the  one person, one vote requirement of the U.S. Constitution; and  WHEREAS, the Council of the City has drawn new districts (the "New Districts"), as described in Exhibits A (map) which are incorporated into this resolution; now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Brundidge City Council as follows:  SECTION 1. The council districts adopted by the City in 2011 are repealed.  SECTION2. The New Districts described in Exihibit A are adopted as the City's new council districts, from which future elections to the Council shall be made.  SECTION: 3. Upon passage of this Resolution, the City Manager is directed to file with the Judge of Probate of the County a certified copy of the resolution, together with a map of the City showing the boundaries of the revised districts to be effective the day  after filing.
