Madison County Board of Elections  Meeting Minutes  Special Session = April 2, 2018  The Madison County Board of Elections met on Monday, April2 2, 2018 in the Board of Elections Conference Room, Room 16. In attendance were the four appointed members oft the Madison County Board of Elections: Jerry Wallin, Dyatt Smathers, Sandra Tolley, and Ray Lewis; Donald Wade Gahagan II, Deputy Director; and Mark Cody, Madison County Clerk of Superior  Court Call to Order:  Member Wallin called the meeting to order at 11:30am. Swearing in of] Board of Elections Members: Madison County Board of Elections. Election of Board of] Elections Officers:  The Honorable Clerk of Superior Court Mark Cody swore in the appointed members oft the  Member Smathers made ai motion: To nominate Jerry Wallin as Chair ofthe Madison County Board of Elections, Member Lewis seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Chair Wallin made a motion: To nominate Dyatt Smathers as Vice-Chair ofthe Madison County Board of Elecctions, Member Tolley seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Member Tolley made a motion: To nominate Ray Lewis as, Secretary of the Madison County Member Lewis made a motion: To nominate Sandra Tolley as Secretary of the Madison County Board ofElections, Vice-Chair Smathers seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The Board Members expressed their appreciation to each other, and their commitment to  Board of Elections, the motion died due to lack ofs second.  elections in Madison County. Adjournment:  With the purpose of the Special Meeting concluded, Chair Wallin moved to adjourn the meeting. Member Lewis seconded and motion carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at  11:55am.
