MADISON COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS  ABSENTEE SESSION Board of Elections Room 16 June 22, 2020 5:00 P.M.  MINUTES CALL TO ORDER  Chair Wallin called the meeting of the Madison County Board of Elections to order at 5:00 p.m. In attendance were Jerry Wallin, Chair; Ray Lewis, Secretary; Dyatt Smathers, Member; Sandra Tolley, Member; Brian Ball, Member; Kathy Ray, Director; and Jacob Ray, Deputy Director. Following a site visit to the Sandy Mush Precinct by Secretary Lewis and Member Smathers, Member Smathers updated the Board on the search for a Sandy Mush Precinct polling site for the November  3, 2020 General Election. NEW BUSINESS  Moved, Seconded (DS, RL) and Carried (5,0) to approve the agenda.  Moved, Seconded (DS, BB) and Carried (5,0) to approve the June 16, 2020 meeting minutes. Moved, Seconded (JW, DS) and Carried (5,0) to approve 8 civilian absentee applications. Moved, Seconded (BB, RL) and Carried (5,0) toa approve 177 one stop applications. Moved, Seconded (DS, BB and Carried (5,0) to deny 1 civilian absentee application.
