Motion passed (5,0)  Minutes Approval:  Motion (DS, BB) to approve May 3, 2022 Absentee Board Meeting Minutes. Motion passed (5-0.)  Members Reports:  Chair Wallin reported on the opening oft the One-Stop Period.  Member Smathers reported on the curbside alarm at the Madison Wellness Center.  Motion (BB, DS) to acquire a pre-paid cellphone and signage for Curbside Services at the Madison  Wellness Center. Motion passed (5-0).  Director's Report:  The director reported on a letter received from the Interim County Manager and the Chair of the Board  of Commissioners regarding the fiscal year 2023 budget.  Preparatory Steps to Count Ballots:  The voting equipment was reconciled with the chain of custody.  Page 1 of2    NEW BUSINESS  Absentee Ballots' Approval for May 3, 2022 Meeting:  Civilian (CIV) Ballots:  1. Beech Glen Precinct: Motion (DS, JW) to approve two CIV Absentee Ballots. Motion passed 2. Ebbs Chapel Precinct: Motion (DS, JW) to approve three CIV Absentee Ballots. Motion passed 3. Grapevine Precinct: Motion (DS, JW) to approve one CIV Absentee Ballots. Motion passed 4. Hot Springs Precinct: Motion (DS, JW) to approve two CIV Absentee Ballots. Motion passed 5. North Marshall Precinct: Motion (DS, JW) to approvetwo CIV Absentee Ballots. Motion passed  (5-0). (5-0). (5-0). (5-0). (5-0).  One Stop Ballots Approval:  Motion (DS, JW) to approve 190 one stop absentee ballots. Motion passed (5-0)  Preparatory Steps to Secure Counted Ballots:  The Board recorded the ending ballot count of thirteen ballots and sealed the machine for storage.  Other Matters:  Motion (DS, JW) to reschedule May's monthly meeting to May 10, 2022 following the conclusion of  Absentee Meeting. The motion passed unanimously (5-0).  ANNOUNCEMENTS  Next absentee meeting: Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.  Next Regularly Scheduled Meeting: May 10, 2022 at the conclusion of Absentee Board Meeting.
