MADISON COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS Canvass Meeting Minutes Board of Elections Conference Room March 15, 2024 11:00 A.M.  MINUTES Call To Order:  Chair Wallin called the meeting of the Madison County Board of Elections to order at 11:00 a.m. In attendance were Jerry Wallin, Chair; Dyatt Smathers, Secretary; Brian Ball, Member; Ray Lewis, Member; Debbie Ponder, Member; Jacob Ray, Director; and one member of the public. Motion (DS, BB) to approve. the agenda as presented. The motion passed (5-0).  Agenda:  Members Reports: No reports by the members. Director's Report: No report given by the director. Canvass Reports: Block Style:  The director presented the final Block Style report for the Board's review.  Voter History Reconciliation: and ballots cast with the board. Incident Reports:  The director explained voter history and ballots casts review the discrepancies between voter history  The director presented each incident report that was submitted to the Board of Elections by precinct officials. All incidents were addressed throughout the voting period and resolved. Copies of all incident  reports are available via public records requests.  Hand-Eye Sample Audit:  The director reviewed the hand-eye sample audit completed by a bi-partisan team.  Motion (DS, BB) to certify the March 5, 2024 Primary Election results and the motion passed  (5-0).
