Madison County Board of Elections Meeting Minutes - Special Session-10:30 a.m. November 9th, 2021 The Madison County Board of Elections held their regular scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 at Suite E, Room 16, 5707 US 25-70 Hwy, Marshall, 28753. In attendance: Jerry' Wallin, Chair; Ray! Lewis, Secretary; Dyatt Smathers, Member; Brian Ball, Member;Jacob Ray, Director; and Elizabeth Madorin, Deputy Director. Call to Order: Chair Wallin called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. Chair and Members and opened the provisional DS 200 tabulator. Seals were opened, verified and the chain of custody papers were: signed. Provisional Applications: Deputy Director Madorin presented one provisional application for consideration. It was recommended for approval as it had been an unreported move andi the applicant verifiedi that he had lived within the county and his new location for moret than thirty days. Motion, seconded (BB, DS) and carried (4,0) to approve the application. Director Ray presented one provisional application for consideration. It was recommended: for approval asi it had been a poll worker error. The voter was wanting to update their name. Director called voter and verified information along with voter view information. Motion, seconded (DS, RL) and carried (4,0) toapprove the application. This updates voter'si information. Chair and members fed the provisional ballots through the DS 200. Tape signed. Director's Report: copies. Comparison of block styles of votes. Chair and members examined the original copies and the additional Motion, seconded (DS, RL) and carried (4,0) to approve to adjourn.
