APPROVAL OF ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS Moved, Seconded (RL,JW) and Carried (3,0) to approve 15 civilian absentee ballot applications (see attached Moved, Seconded (RL, JW). and Carried (3,0) to spoil 2 civilian absentee ballot applications (see attached report). The Chair reported that there is a process to observe with the county manager and commissioners regarding the approved pay increases for the director and deputy director. He also presented information on the status of the Department of Labors new overtime rule that is to soon be released and will conduct more research regarding the earning threshold and Thel Director informed the Board that the State Board has released a new voter guide for the. June 7, 2016 Congressional Primary Election. The Guide has been posted on thel Board of Elections Website along with a new Poll Worker Resources The Director informed the Board that there are outstanding invoices for approximately $5,500 in election supplies that will come from the current budget. The Board was also presented with a quote for the purchase of242 2D barcode scanners that will be needed at all registration and help stations during thel November 8, 2016 General Election. The scanners will be used with the SOSA/OVRD applications to scan barcode information from state drivers' licenses and The Board was informed that one.
