Madison County Board of Elections Meeting Minutes - Regular Session  September 15th, 2021  The Madison County Board of Elections held their regular scheduled meeting on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 at Suite E, Room 16, 5707 US25-701 Hwy, Marshall, 28753. In attendance: Jerry' Wallin, Chair; Ray Lewis, Secretary; Dyatt Smathers, Member; Sandra Tolley, Member; Brian Ball, Member; Jacob Ray,  Director; and Elizabeth Madorin, Deputy Director.  Call to Order:  Chair Wallin called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.  Minutes: minutes.  Motion with as second (DS, BB) and motion carried (5,0) to approve the August 17th, 2021 meeting  Members' Report: rights.  Member Ball reported that he has been following the current state court case that involves felony voting Member Smathers volunteered to visit Mars Hill Landing located next to the Mars Hilll Library and discus Member Tolley thanked the Director for the update on the flooding of the South Marshall precinct and Chair Wallin explained the contract the town of Marshall has with thet film production company regarding the cleaning of the room usedi for voting and allowing access to the polling locationo on  the upcoming Municipal Election and how that will impact traffic on Election Day. inquired about the current condition of the South Marshall precinct voting area.  Election Day. Other Matters  Discussion ensued about early voting locations fori the 2022 Elections. Madison Early College  High School was discussed as a potential early voting location. Sandy Mush precinct alternatives for 2022 were discussed.  Addison Farms' Vineyard status.    Director's Report:  The Director provided updates toi the Board as follows: 2021 Municipal Election staffing and preparation. Logic & Accuracy testing schedule and staffing update.  August Budget Report  New Business  Motion with a second (DS,JW) and carried (5,0) to employee one Democrat and one Republican  toa assist in Logic & Accuracy testing.
