Madison County Board ofElections  Meeting Minutes - Regular Session (Teleconference)  January 20, 2021 at 3:00 P.M.  Thel Madison County Board of Elections held at teleconference meeting on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Joining the meeting: Jerry Wallin, Chair; Rayl Lewis, Secretary; Dyatt Smathers, Member; Sandra' Tolley, Member; Kathy Ray, Director; Jacob Ray, Deputy Director; and two members oft the  public. Call to Order: Agenda:  Chair Wallin called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.  Motion, Seconded (DS, RL) and Carried (4,0) to approve the agenda as presented.  Members' Reports:  Chair Wallin commented that COVID vaccination was underway. The process was quick and easy. Director's Report:  Thel Director provided the most current) January 2021 budget revenue and expenditure report. Discussion ensued regarding the upcoming 2021-2022 budget proposal, future in-person State Board conferences, and ADA election equipment. The Board requested additional time to consider the options ofl leasing the AutoMark Ballot Markers and purchasing the ExpressVote Universal The Directorinformed the Board that the county has received the $10,000 HAVA Subgrant funds from the State Comptroller. The county has received $27,500 in Cares Act/HAVA subgrant funds. The Director reported that the county maintenance director has visited the Sandy Mush polling site at Addison Farms and is working with Owner) Jeff Frisbee to repair thel broken threshold at the  Voting System.  doorway.
