Madison County Board of Elections Meeting Minutes - Regular Session  May 10th, 2022  The Madison County Board of Elections held their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022, at Suite E, Room 16, 5707 US: 25-70 Hwy, Marshall, 28753. In attendance: Jerry Wallin, Chair; Ray! Lewis, Secretary; Dyatt Smathers, Member; Brian Ball, Member; Sandra Tolley Member (Via Telephone); Jacob Ray, Director; and Elizabeth Madorin,  Deputy Director. Call to Order:  Chair Wallin called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.  Agenda:  Motion to approve the agenda as presented (DS, JW) and the motion passed (5-0).  Minutes:  Motion to approve Executive Session minutes from April 19th (DS, RL) and the motion passed (5-0).  Members' Report: No Member's Report.  Director's Report:  Director reported on the notice of meeting that will be posted for Pre-Election Day Absentee Meeting May 16that5 5p.m.  New Business:  Motion to approve the following poll workers and office assistant: Robin Smathers as the Republican Judge in Mars Hill. Camille Mace as a Republican Assistant in Mars Hill. Sarah Buckner as a Republican Assistant in Revere Rice Cove. Dennis Capps as a Republican office assistant.  -    Other Matters: petition.  Member Ball requested an update on Unaffiliated Candidate Petitions. Director provided an update on each open  The Board went over the upcoming calendar and the potential second primary schedule.
