Madison County Board of Elections Canvass Meeting Minutes Board of Elections Conference Room Tuesday, November 9, 2021  11:00. AM  The Madison County Board of Elections held 2021 Municipal Canvass Meeting on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 at Suite E, Room 16, 5707 US 25-70 Hwy, Marshall, 28753. In attendance: Jerry Wallin, Chair; Ray Lewis, Secretary; Dyatt Smathers, Member; Brian Ball, Member; Jacob Ray, Director; and Elizabeth  Madorin, Deputy Director. Call to Order:  Chair Walling called the meeting to order at 11:00a.m.  Canvass Reports  The Director provided the Block Style Canvass Reports and Reconciliation Worksheet for  comparison with election night results.  Incident Report:  Mars Hill reported that the DS200 printer jammed while printing the zero tape. Judges  verified that the public count before voting began was zero.  The Director reported that the bi-p partisan team conducted the sample hand eye audit. No difference was found between the hand eye and machine counts for the Mayor of Hot Springs The Director reported that the bi-partisan team tallied the write-in votes for thet town of Hot Motion with: second (JW,DS) and Carried (4,0) to certify thel November 2, 2021 General Election Results. Motion with a second (DS,BB) and carried 4,01 to recess for lunch and final report preparation.  contests and the Mayor of Marshall contests and candidates.  Springs.    The Meeting reconvened at: 12:30 p.m.  The Director provided thei final canvass documents for the Board's review.
