Revenues increased fort the month of August ($151,056), compared to August 2023 ($139,532); an increase of $13,231. Overall, there has been an increase of $44,744 or 7.86% in revenues for the period April- - September 12, 2024 ($614,343), inc comparison to the same period in 2023 ($569,599). There have been 14,809 rounds played this season The Annual Sugar Mountain Golf Classic was held Saturday and Sunday, August 24thand 25th, with fifty-six players competing ini four flights. The overall Club Champion with a first round score of 70 and a second round of 64, was Bobby Treadway. The Ladies Champion witha at first round: score of 82 anda a second round of73 was Mary Helen Treece from Monroe, NC. Ms. Treece was the ladies champion in 2023! Thank you Tennis continues to show positive growth in the program this season. Like golf, many players start their departure after Labor Day. Administrative Matters: Chief Turbyfill has been awarded his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate by the NC Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission. Chief Turbyfill has earned this certificate with thirteen (13) years of experience and obtaining 1000+ hours of training outside of the mandatory training required for all officers.
